This Ophelia chick must be something special and rather frustrating to deal with. With Luke she took his heart and wants her to bring it back. With Levon Helm [drummer of The Band] she abruptly left and all he wants is for her to darken his door again. So this leads me to believe “hey, she’s probably got some hidden talent… like juggling or maybe a really good knitter.”
Like a train booking it through the quiet Dixie country side Luke brings the influences of zydeco and the vivid storytelling that he’s known for with this one, which makes me rather excited to listen to the rest of his solo album Don’t Act Like You Don’t Care due out September 6th thru Western Vinyl
