I’m smiling because today is my late father’s birthday. He was my best friend, fellow bandmate, teacher, mentor….this list goes on.
My father passed away 5 years ago and the pain of missing him is still very strong. But I am happy to celebrate his life in THIS life. He left this world too soon and I feel it is my life’s quest to carry out and execute my purpose in this lifetime.
He always said to me “You know, I’ve never been able to achieve commercial success but as I grow older, it is apparent that my children are my opus”…
How lucky have I been to have a father that sees his role in the lives of my brother and I as his masterpiece? It’s a gift in itself.
